It Is a Small World After All
"Matt Henry, you've just finished setting up your organization's booth at the American Geriatric Society's Annual Meeting. What are you going to do now?"
"I'm going to Disney World!"
So yeah, I totally went to Disney World, and you know what? It was awesome. Maybe not $100 awesome, but still pretty awesome. I managed to trade my sense of ironic detachment for genuine enthusiasm somewhere between row 41 of the "Minnie" parking lot and the monorail, and boy am I glad I did.
Without going into too many specifics, it was really fun. I couldn't have been more psyched to go on the Haunted Mansion ride (pictures TK, maybe), and the jungle riverboat was fun if only because I couldn't help but be reminded of the Riverquest Safariventure.
So, we have a lot to talk about, but it's going to have to wait. I'm really busy with the job that pays me, and also with the jobs that don't, so it's going to have to wait a bit. But let's talk soon, okay?
