Ricola Breath Mints: A freshtastic (tm) alternative to the ordinary mint

ricola mints.jpgBelatedly following Rachel's excellent advice (in comments, all the way at the bottom), I picked up a box of Ricola Mountain Herb Breath Mints, and wow! What a mint! According to the product's webiste,

The same delicious natural herb flavor of our famous Ricola Original Herb cough drop gives this Breath Mint it's rich, satisfying taste.
I'm here to tell you that that shit is gospel.

And not only are they delicious and effective breath-fresheners, but their firm texture makes them a brilliant intermediate confection between gum and mint. They're kind of like Dots in their shape and consistency.

A word of caution, the side of the box does claim that the mints "May have a mild laxative effect if consumed in large quantities." However, "large quantities" must mean some number greater than 4 MPH (mints per hour) for 3-4 hours, since that's about where I'm at, and things are still looking pretty good.

In closing, Ricola Mountain Herb Breath Mints are a delicious new experience for those of you who are tired of the same old mint. Try some today!

Matt you lead a pretty great life. I like the 4MPH part, that should really be standard mint-consumption measurement, you know?

You know, Kev, my life *is* pretty great. And it's greater still now that I've flown to the opposite side of the country from where the humidity is.
